Al Nayzak concludes “Badir” program and releases creative student projects

Ramallah: Al Nayzak for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation, in partnership with The U.S Consulate General in Jerusalem, has launched an interactive education app that was developed by 39 Palestinian teachers within “STEM Teachers Excellence in Practice” Program which is implemented in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza. The android app was launched at Al Nayzak Entrepreneurship Conference 2016 with the attendance of over 150 of Al Nayzak teachers and students at the Red Crescent Society Headquarters in Al Bireh.

Nablus:- Al Nayzak for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation opened the first factory for innovative agricultural equipment in Palestine as part of its “Made in Palestine” Incubator which is implemented in partnership with Diakonia. The program aims to develop Palestinian economy and bridge scientific research with industrial and business markets. The event took place in Aqrabanyeh village near Nablus to celebrate years of investment in scientific and technological entrepreneurship.

Washington – Ramallah:- For the fourth consecutive year, Al Nayzak for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation concludes the activities of it Palestinian delegation to the United States after 10 days of exploration and innovation.

Hebron – Dura: Al Nayzak for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation in partnership with UNICEF and with funding by the Japanese Representative Office to the PA, launched six innovation labs in Gaza, Hebron, Dura, Jerusalem, Nablus and Abu Dis. The launching came in two ceremonies for the innovation labs in Dura and Hebron within the second cycle of Badir – Initiate Program.

Ramallah: Al Nayzak Organization for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation, under the auspices of Palestinian Prime Minister Dr. Rami Hamdallah, and in partnership with the Higher Council for Innovation and Excellence, the Smithsonian Institute, the University of Marilyn and NASA Agency, and with funding from the American Consulate General in Jerusalem, announced the winners of the Palestinian Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program - S.T.E.P. 2016.

Ramallah – Gaza Al Nayzak for Supportive Education and Scientific innovation have celebrated the closing of the second cycle “Badir- Adolescents for Positive Change 2016” Programme, in a grand ceremony in the Convention Palace in Bethlehem and in the Red Crescent Center in Gaza. Attending the ceremony were His Excellency Dr. Sabri Seidam, minister of the Education and Higher Education, Mrs. June Junugi, Special Representative of Unicef, Mr. Hiroyuki Kajita, First Secretary and Head of Economic Cooperation at the Representative Office of Japan to the Palestinian Authority, and Eng. Aref Husseini, chairman of Al Nayzak Organization for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation. The ceremony was also attended by a number of partner municipality heads and directors of education directorates, and with participation of supervisors and school teachers, and students.

Ramallah:- Al Nayzak for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation has ended its year and celebrated its achievements during 2015 by signing a strategic partnership agreement with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education at the Ministry’s headquarters in Ramallah, with the attendance of his Excellency Dr Sabri Saidam the Minister of education, and Chairman of Al Nayzak Eng. Aref Al Husseini. Also attending the ceremony were Dr. Basri Saleh Deputy assistant for Planning and Development, Dr. Shahinaz Al Far Director General of Training and Supervision, Eng. Taleb Al Haj Director General of IT, and Dr. Suqaina Elayyan the Minister’s Advisor. Eng. Shirin Al Husseini, Director of Programs and Operations, and Ms. Sarah Kuhail, Public Relations officer, from Al Nayzak also attended the event, in addition to a number of partners from the

Haifa – Jerusalem: Welfare Association and Al Nayzak Organization for Supportive Education and Scientific Innovation launched a new technology lab in Hiwar Independent School for Alternative Education in Haifa, as part of Al Nayzak’s “Thinking – Technology” program, a distinct educational technology program that is implemented inside 28 Palestinian schools in the West Bank, Gaza, Jerusalem, and now Haifa.
